Website for amature writers. Would you be interest

I'd like to get a website going. Just a nice little community of writers, people starting out where they can post their work for others to read and comment on.
Would you be interested in joining such a website?

The thing with wirting is, I enjoy doing it just I can never really find anyone interested in reading my work. I love reading the work of others so I pretty much recon that if we get a whole bunch of us together we can enjoy each others work and help each other out.

Just an idea. Would it be worth my effort making such a website? I know there are others already like it but they seem to be pretty dead.

My name is V, at least that's what everyone calls me. I'm an Ex-South African now converted Australian.(Best thing that ever could have happened)

Currently, I am studying a Bachelor of Creative Media. My dream is to ultimately make my own films.
I enjoy writing, and I wish I could enjoy drawing, just I have no skill in that particular area.
Music is another one of my favorite things. It's powerful stuff, but I am very picky and I largely dislike main stream music not because I try to be different but mostly because it usually is really bad and usually promotes things that I strongly disagree with.

Other than that, well I don't know what to share with you.

A basic overview of me would be largely impossible without half informing you which in turn would cause a drastic misinterpretation of who I really am. So basically a basic overview is impossible which, funny enough causes it's own paradox as my basic overview is that one cannot exist.
